Daphne

So I had a great evening shoot with Daphne...she herself is a photographer and just wanted to get photographed for once...she was just as good as a model as she is a photographer...and Super Fun to be around.. We had lots of idea's and really ran out of light...but this won't be the last shoot I am sure.. but here are just a few of the shots...unedited and will post more when I have my editing tools back...SOON (Tuesday)

Vacation...

So I am away from my world, and in another...well kindof. I am in Vancouver having a little vacation...well I am actually house sitting and taking care of my wonderful sisters.. while my parents are away in Paris...But yesterday we took a day trip to the Oregon coast...First stop Cannon Beach...where we walked in the HOT HOT SAND just to wade in the water...we could of kicked ourselves for not bringing attire to swim, but we just didn't realize how hot it really was going to be.. But anyways we still had fun. Than we went for a little Visit to Grandma McCann in Warrenton...than back to Seaside we went to walk around the shops and go on the beach again.. We went to a fun hat shop and the girls tried a bunch of hats on than we got some cool shells and star fishes..Than the girls went on the swings which were on the beach which i just thought was so cool.. but anyways in short in was a fantastic day with lots of fun.. here are just a few unedited photo's I took and will post more later..I think I just need a fun page to put these kind of NON session photo's in...

Withdrawels

So I am havig withdrawels... Taking pictures and editing that is.. I am currently out of town taking care of my sister's for a week, and even though I have potentially a couple sessions while I am here.. these last two days with nothing to work on has made it hard...But I am suppose to be meeting up with another GREAT photographer while I am in town and possibly sit in on a Maternity Session and scope the area for good Locations to take my photo's at:) But see I should enjoy the break cause when I go home I have a full agenda..with lots to do and keep me busy and HAPPY!..Check back I will post fun photo's of my Trip~

Learning Learning Learning

So..I just keep learning new tricks on photoshop...and I guess their not tricks..but they sure seem like it to me.. I guess I will continue to learn, which makes me happy...Newest trick..ROUNDED CORNERS.. there was a professional photographer I took my Daughter to for a contest and they printed their photo's off in rounded corners...and ever since then I have loved the look. IT makes them so much softer in my mind. But I guess its a matter of opinion cause some might not like it but for me I love it.. especially for babies and Children! So here is my example..you might not tell cause of the blog layout..but I am going to try anyways!

Sneak Peak Sophia 6 month

So, what a great morning I had capturing this beauty.. She is so ready to get up go and sitting still is not on her list of to do's.. She loved my doggy's and would only smile for them and her beautiful mama of coarse.. Getting to capture this wonderful baby and spending time with someone like her mama makes me enjoy what I do so much.. This isn't work for me..this is pure pleasure!

Sister Story

So, a couple days ago.. I had the pleasure of capturing a model and her sister...who happens to be my sister in law as-well. They are both gorgeous girls and just fun to take pictures of.. So Along with their solo shots, we did some fun sister shots.. So here are a few for a short story of Sisters!

Model Photo Shoot

Wow, is all I can say.. had a great day shooting a aspiring model and her sister who should also be a model.. lots of outfit changes and location swaps.. but it was all in all just lots of fun. here are just a few shots from today...plenty more to come.. as I will be editing these for at least a couple days...there are so many good ones!

So today, was a great day.. it was Wednesday and I went prop shopping.. Oh it was very fun finding stuff and what made it even better was how little I spent. I got this amazing Yellow foot stool that ironically matches perfect to a yellow chair I already had...best part it cost me a whopping $2.50:) than I found some pillows that are great for little behinds, and amazing pinkish knitted blanket that I look forward to using for Little Girls:) Some picture frames which make for a cute prop.. another umbrella that is shown with my dear daughter Lilly.. and countless other things that are not pictured.. So this will be popping up in my photo's in the near future.. so check back!

I had a great time today with this awesome and very cute couple. Full of ideas and fun. Big football fans, and we had to take photos of them in their Jersery's.. even more unique, roses in their mouth...Rose-bowl anyone..I won't mention how we obtained those flowers...wink wink..but all in all this was truly fun and I look forward to their wedding next AUGUST! More photo's to come..these are just a few!

Learning more and more editing...these again have whats consider a antique effect...but I just loved how these turned out and its a completely different look than the original. Tomorrow I have engagement photo's and I am really looking forward taking the pictures and even more so to edited them in a new way...check back!

learning how to edit photo's...

So I have been watching some tutorials on photoshop and learning new ways to edit my photos and give them more appeal. I have edited my photos but just basic color correction and exposure stuff but never really anything else. So these hree photos of my girls I did some curve adjustments, lens correction, hue and saturation and contrast adjustments to give them what would be considered a antique look. But I think they turned out good and they aren't extreme but they are not your average photo..I love how much there is to learn about photoshop its just crazy! But be sure to keep checking back to see my photo's progress!

My Baby is 6 months

My Baby girl is 6 months old already...it feels like yesterday I was all big and pregnant with her! She is such a joy to be around, and every smile makes my day..she is also a great little model. I am so happy I took them myself...Hope you like them..like I do!

So, I have had some computer problems that have made it difficult to upload photo's! I will be uploading more real soon! Check back...Good note...after this week I am going to be very busy...more is going on my calendar everyday!
